Bridgy Fed is progressing with Bluesky/AT Protocol support. The current federation test is limited to 10 users per server, causing a delay in the launch. The design includes a prompt for opt in/out and DMing the first time anyone on Bluesky wants to follow or interact. There is a tension between the fediverse's default of open, opt-out federation and its culture of consent and opt-in. Feedback is encouraged.
